On June 26, at the initiative of the Union of Banks of Armenia and OVIO company, the management staff of a number of commercial banks of Armenia visited OVIO, the largest Data Processing Center of Armenia.
The data processing center was put into commercial operation by the OVIO company in May with a wide range of start-up capabilities.
It is built in accordance with ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, PCI DSS and TIER III authoritative international standards, includes more than 210 server cabinets, is powered by two independent substations, has a 2 MgV capacity.
Accompanied by Daniel Azatyan, President of the Union of Banks of Armenia, and Hayk Faramazyan, CEO of OVIO, the representatives of the banks toured the Data Processing Center, got acquainted with the center's infrastructure and cloud solutions.
"Today we are happy to host our partners, the heads of leading banks of RA, in our data processing center. The cloud and digital services of this center, unique in the region, play an important role in the digitization of the banking and financial system. OVIO's Data Processing Center is located in the city of Abovyan, 16 km away from Yerevan, its strategic location provides convenience and quick access to both local and international clients, providing a wide variety of solutions.
