Emphasizing the role of social projects, Rostelecom Armenia donated 3 million drams for the "Arabkir" United Children's Charitable Foundation for the implementation of child development and rehabilitation services at the Meghri Regional Medical Center.
The number of children in the Meghri region is 2500 children, of which 200-250 have various developmental disorders.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to carry out building-repair works, furnishing, creating conditions for providing appropriate medical care, as well as to carry out training of specialists in the territory of Meghri Medical Center.
"We are glad to announce that Rostelecom Armenia is once again involved in a very important social project to support the medical care of children with developmental problems.
This project received a great response from us, because as a result of its implementation, the children of Meghri, Agarak and the villages of the region will benefit from multidisciplinary rehabilitation services.
We are glad that the program was highly appreciated by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, which expressed its willingness to implement the compensation of rehabilitation services within the framework of the state order," said Hayk Faramazyan, General Director of Rostelecom Armenia.
Construction work on the project has already begun, and completion is expected in the spring of 2024.
