OVIO launches the OVIO Cloud service in its Data Center

2024-11-14

OVIO has introduced a new OVIO Cloud service, which consists of two clusters: G-Cloud and B-Cloud.

The G-Cloud cluster is designed for the public sector and includes functional capabilities tailored for the needs of government institutions.

The B-Cloud cluster is intended for businesses, with functionality adapted to meet business requirements.

OVIO Cloud operates on a server system powered by the latest Intel Xeon(R) Gold processors and DDR5 memory. The data storage system is based on All-Flash technology, consisting of high-speed NVMe SSDs. Based on advanced physical servers, OVIO Cloud allows for high-load software applications to run within its cloud service. In addition to internet access, dedicated data transfer channels can also be connected to the servers on the cloud platform. Backup copies of servers can be created on the cloud platform through the self-service portal.

"Cloud services hold a central place in our offerings, and the launch of OVIO Cloud is a strategically important step. This is especially significant for the public sector as it elevates data storage reliability to a new level. Another advantage of OVIO Cloud is the self-service portal, through which clients can adjust the volume of cloud services and other parameters online," noted Hayk Faramazyan, General Director of OVIO.

The OVIO data center is the largest in the region, built to TIER III reliability standards for equipment and infrastructure, which includes dual high-voltage power supply, a backup cooling system, uninterrupted data center operation during maintenance and updates, and other benefits. This reliable infrastructure provides customers with uninterrupted data access and 24/7 service.

The OVIO data center has 216 server racks, a total power capacity of 2 MW, and is built in compliance with international standards ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, PCI DSS, and TIER III. It ensures secure data processing and storage for large and small businesses, as well as government institutions, allowing clients to save significant amounts on purchasing and maintaining costly equipment. The center is located in the town of Abovyan, just 16 kilometers from the capital Yerevan, providing convenient and fast access for both local and international clients, offering a wide range of solutions.
