OVIO’s Data Center has been awarded
a certificate of compliance with the international Payment Card Industry Data
Security Standard (PCI DSS) version 4.0.1, covering both cloud and colocation
services.
PCI DSS is a globally recognized and authoritative standard that certifies the
highest level of security for storing, processing, and transmitting cardholder
data.
The assessment was conducted by the
independent and reputable audit firm Card Security LLC. The scope included OVIO
Cloud, a virtual infrastructure based on VMware technologies, which allows
organizations to securely deploy servers and networks for cardholder data
operations. The certification also covers colocation services, which provide
physical space in the data center equipped with access control, video
surveillance systems, security protocols, and identification mechanisms.
Key areas covered by the PCI DSS
assessment included:
• Physical security enforcement mechanisms
• Management of surveillance and access control systems
• Information security governance and awareness programs
• Management of VMware virtual infrastructure
• Management of network infrastructure and data protection tools
• Vulnerability detection and incident response processes
“Achieving PCI DSS certification is
an important milestone for us. It reflects our company’s consistent approach to
protecting even the most sensitive data of our clients in full compliance with
international standards.
We remain committed to continuously developing OVIO’s data center capabilities and enhancing our services, including cloud solutions — creating a reliable and secure environment for organizations and institutions where data protection is mission-critical,” said Hayk Faramazyan, General Director of OVIO.
As a result of the assessment, OVIO
was confirmed to be fully compliant with all PCI DSS v4.0.1 requirements and
received “Compliant” status.
