On the initiative of OVIO, the "DC24" conference on the topic "Development of Cloud Technologies and Data Processing Centers" was held in Yerevan on June 26.

Taking into account the necessity of digital transformation arising from growing technological needs, the importance of following and complying with international technological trends, the role of data processing centers and cloud technologies, and the importance of information security for the public and private sectors, representatives of various international and local organizations were given the opportunity to present their own experiences and visions for Armenia's transition to a new technological level.

"Due to the increase in data volume, new challenges arise. Cybersecurity, data storage reliability, and other new technological solutions have become important components for the public and private sectors. The goal of the conference is to raise industry issues and find their solutions. Recently, we launched the largest data processing center in the region and value the approaches and needs of industry professionals and interested organizations. The OVIO data processing center already has enormous potential: over 210 server racks, power supply from two independent substations, 2 MW capacity, compliance with international standards ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, PCI DSS, and TIER III," noted OVIO CEO Hayk Faramazyan.

During the conference, OVIO and the international company Qrator Labs, known for its network accessibility solutions, signed a cooperation agreement combining OVIO's broad and comprehensive solutions as a certified data processing center and cloud solutions provider with Qrator Labs, a cloud network security services provider based on its own geo-distributed filtering network.

At the conference, speakers discussed various topics: the application and role of cloud services for data processing centers for the public and private sectors, the dynamics of digital transformation for government and business, global trends in data centers, the importance of understanding the technologies used by cloud service providers, cybersecurity, and more.

The conference was attended and addressed by the Director of the RA Information Systems Agency, the Head of the Technology and Cybersecurity Department of the Central Bank, representatives of global organizations Uptime and Lenovo, and others. It is worth noting that Lenovo equipment, one of the world's largest data storage system providers, is installed in the OVIO Data Processing Center. Such cooperation and integration ensure high performance and reliability for the data processing center's clients.
